What is GUI MODS all about?

GUI MODS has only one mission: to equip you with all the necessary tools to make your desktop pretty. I collect the best themes, skins, wallpapers, icons and many other goodies related to Windows Vista and Windows XP from different web sites and post them here in one neat collection.

GUI MODS has an accompanying forum where you can find more tools and software needed to customize your desktop to the hilt. Moreover, you can post questions, ask for help and become a part of this growing customization community.

You post other people’s stuff here, what about the credits?

I always give credit to original authors, and give all the information they provide along with their skins. Other than that, I do not host their work on my own servers, but merely point my visitors to the the page where a skin is originally hosted. So, all I do is give more exposure to the artists and theme authors. They really don’t have anything to lose.

I am a theme author/artist, how can I post my work on GUI MODS?

Given the popularity of GUI MODS, you can give yourself and your art a lot of exposure by submitting it to GUI MODS forum. And I assure you that if your work is not already posted on the main GUI MODS blog, It’ll be there after you post it on the forums.

I want to be notified whenever new themes are added, is it possible?

Yes, by subscribing to GUI MODS RSS Feeds you can get the updates right in your RSS reader. You don’t even need to visit GUI MODS, because all new themes will be delivered to you as soon as they are posted.
