Honestly, I’am speechless. The Shawshank Redemption is grand. I am not too old film fanatic, in fact, this movie came out whenI was born, and thence I am to a greater extent used to films with marvellous special effects, edge-of-your-seat action, et cetera. This film has zero of that, and still, it close to me . The way Frank Darabont uses the narration of Red to drive on the tale, the excellent the film music applied (note the mouth harp used just before Red receiving the letter at the end). The entire movie, from start to closing, from actions to music, is a lighthouse of hope, judgment, and redemption. The cast is mastered, Morgan Freeman(Red) really brings about a fresh feel to the film, and that’s exactly what the film is, what a movie should be. Really recommended for every viewer.
