Author’s Notes: This is the third release of my Dark/Purple theme for Windows Vista
there has been quite a few changes in this release.

Changelog:

-A return to my original intention of a dark skin, the start bar and start menu have been darkened

-Fixed alot of bugs in some of the images, such as the separator bar and the progress bar

-Brand new Dark Vista Basic skin, who says Vista basic people should have a crap skin

-Changes to the aero windows:

+Two different skins one with the normal buttons and a new skin that doesn’t have the buttons
but the Close, Maximize and Minimize buttons appear when you hover over them with your mouse, this gives
the windows a nice clean look.

+New window look gives the windows alot more depth

+Removed the “glow” around the title of the window, so if you are using a dark colour on your theme (which I recommend) you should change the title bar text colour to white on active and inactive windows.

-By going into the appearance menu
-then go to “Window Colour and Appearance”
-then click on “open classic appearance properties for more colour options”
-then click “Advanced”
-then choose “Active title bar” from the dropdown menu and change the colour to white
-do the same for “Inactive title bar” but change it to a light gray colour

-Various other things

Author’s Notes: This is the first Beta release of my Aero 4093 (Jade) style.
This theme is based on the style of Windows Longhorn Build 4093.

Nothing changed since the latest preview, but I thought I’d just release it.
Please tell me what you think of it, and give me suggestions.

**Updated: Made a small change to the start button, the fugly white dots on the right side are removed.**

Author’s Notes: Updated Black Vista Basic wb5 skin (v3.0) features several start panel substyles:
- full & compact solid (opaque) start panel
- full & compact transparent start panel
- full start panel with no action buttons (for those that don’t want action buttons on the windowframes)
- oversized start button
- vista style titlebar buttons with glow effect

Many improvements over v2.0 including updated windowframes and titlebar buttons, added glow button effects, added action buttons with overlay images with text description (transparent window button, rollup/unroll window, windowblinds page shortcut & windows media player), improved startpanel/moreprog area bkgrnd & item elements, skinned flat menus, updated taskbar/taskbar buttons/group menu bkgrnd, disabled userpane pic area & removed included wallpaper image, added off2k7 style scrollbar thumb & arrow buttons, updated control panel elements, updated ie7/vista style internet explorer toolbar icons, etc. Overall, a 100% improvement over the previous version of this skin.

EDIT.. Please redownload and update as I have updated it to correctly use all Vista shell and explorer images.

Anyone want a nice vista theme? Thanks for y’alls patience.. It’s true what they say.. ALWAYS better if you have to wait.
