   this is a rar file, you need rar to extract it. so a search for RAR freeware , its just like a zip file.

   I dont understand. I extracted sucessfully, but the utility extracted to the temp folder,and there is no .theme file extracted. How do I add it without a .theme file to add to my themes list?

   I would think you would make it more intuitive to install the themes, I really cannot be bothered with all this bs………..

   I have Vista Basic… What would this change??

   I have once tried to have a Mac OS X Theme but because I only have Vista basic it comes up as Windows 95 theme!

   If you can get back that would be great!

    TO ANSWER MOST PROBLEMS.

    for people who dont have software that can NOT extract or open RAR files, use freeware such as 7zip.

    If you are able to open/extract the files, but cant open the theme, use the program named Vistaglazz. (Note: sometimes patches may be corrupted. try re-installing it) or Tuneup Utilities 2008 (Not free)

    i have the vista glass and i also know how to use it but the thing is the theme did not show in my personalize/themes to apply

    You can easily download any theme if you have tuneup utilities 2008.
    Here is the step to follow……….
    Open
    tuneup utilities 2008 main window>>customize windows(on the left pane)>>tune up styler>>visual style(on the left pane)>>click on add>>install visual style from file.
    Now just locate the theme file and click on apply visual style.
